New Blog Entries (Finally)

Yeah, it's been a while, but I finally put some effort into writing for the Blog. I'm still deciding what I want to do with it ultimately. But till then, I'll really try to put down my thoughts in some coherent form to stimulate discussion and debate. If you want to comment on any postings, you can do so directly (Comment!) or on the Forum. You can also Contact me with any personal queries.

Chapters 10 and 11

Although I've mostly been fiddling with design and formatting, Part II of the Nexus Guide has taken me a while to put up. Well, as promised during winter break, I will be adding new elements to alias eliot - starting with Part II (Ch. 10-15). So far I've got two chapters uploaded, with more on the way. Also, I'm trying to figure out how to make the Blog more sustainable (i.e. how to make myself post to it more regularly). I'll be back with more news soon.

12-7-07 Changes Up-and-Coming

Ugh, I feel awful that I haven't posted an update (or a blog entry) in almost three months. I really DO have a good excuse (college), but I realize that the blogosphere accepts no excuses. It's a tough, tough world where if you haven't posted something in 24 hours you're written off as a turncoat, but over winter break (1 week and counting!) I promise to be more attentive and to add some really amazing stuff that will make even stalwart AE readers take notice. Until then, take a few Bytes to curb your hunger....

9-29-07 Check out "About"

I know this probably should have been taken care of months ago, but I've finally finished alias eliot's "About" page. So now you can get the inside scoop - who we are (or rather, who I am), what we're about (if you haven't already guessed), our mission statement, etc. Again, feel free to write to me with any comments/questions/suggestions. Cheers.

9-26-07 Sick, sick, sick

For those of you who follow such things, you will undoubtedly have noticed that Found Bytes has been on hiatus for about a week. I'm really sorry about this but the fact is: I've got this dumb cold that just won't break. I'll try to get back to it soon, though. Thanks for understanding.

9-18-07 Part I Complete

Hey all. Back in school now - which means less time for my favorite website (and the world's best people - you!) Ok, now that you're sufficiently buttered-up, I can say that work on AE will be a bit sporadic over the next months, though I will DEFINITELY be keeping up with "Found Bytes", as well as blogging whenever humanly possible. Also, I'm about 2/3 done with Part II of the Nexus Guide. So stay tuned.....

7-13-07 Changes at AE

Thank you one and all for bearing with AE during this time of upheaval! Our aim is to define AE's mission more clearly - and to make this website a true force for change. It might take a few more days (fingers crossed), but keep checking back. We promise: The finished product will be well worth the wait!

6-23-07 Updates Coming

Things might seem a bit slow around here - but rest assured, plenty is going on in the background. Right now, The Daily Byte is pretty much the only thing being updated on a regular basis. New additions are coming though, as well as a potential re-design of the website. I'll keep you posted....

5-27-07 New Article: Reason and Politics

Al Gore is the focus of intense interest lately - will he run for president? will he endorse another candidate? will he win the Nobel Peace Prize? Whatever the answers, Gore has become the most visible and vocal advocate for the environment and individual voice in democracy. His new book, The Assault on Reason, deals mainly with the latter topic, and since we here at AliasEliot strongly believe in the power of one, we've published an excerpt on the Articles page - "Reason and Politics".

5-25-07 New Gallery, New Journal Entry

Boy, after a long drought, a sudden rainstorm of stuff! Please check out my new journal entry - "First 'Active Empathy' Video". I worked really hard on it so I hope you feel the message, then pass it on to any interested parties. And, in commemoration of Mother's Day (late, I know, but better than never), I've uploaded a new Gallery, "My Mother's Garden". If you enjoy beautiful photos, you'll certainly like these!
